Viking Bay, Morelli’s ice cream parlour and Flamingo arcade in Margate all feature in the latest O2 advert starring Dua Lipa.

Singer and songwriter Dua Lipa visited Broadstairs to film the advert in May. The English-Albanian singer, 28,  has received critical acclaim and accolades include seven Brit Awards and three Grammy Awards.

Time magazine included her in its list of the top 100 most influential people in the world for 2024.

In May the singer released her newest album  Radical Optimism and she embarked on a European tour last month, she has also just performed at Glastonbury.

The new ‘Walk Ad’ – the first of its kind in six years – sees Dua join a previous lineup of artists including Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes and Lady Gaga to create her own O2 campaign.

The 60 second film follows Dua Lipa and fans as she walks through the Thanet spots and then on to the stage for her 2025 tour.
