Police enquiries are taking place following a report of a burglary at Tesco Express in Ramsgate during the early hours of this morning (October 18)
Kent Police officers were called at 4.40am to reports of the burglary in progress at the Hereson Road store.
A window had been smashed and two men are reported to have stolen products from the shop but had gone when police arrived 10 minutes later.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at around 4.40am on Saturday 18 October to a report of a burglary in progress at Tesco Express in Hereson Road, Ramsgate.
“It was reported that two men had smashed a window to gain entry before stealing products from inside.
“Officers attended within 10 minutes and carried out a thorough search of the local area for the suspects, who remain outstanding.
“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
