After a successful debut festival last year, music promoter Jake Cook has decided to take over Dreamland once again with an offering of rock bands both locally and across Europe.
This year’s event will take place in the Roller Room and also features food outlets, a diverse bar, extra seating and outdoor acoustic stage.
The festival will be hosted by local Americano rock heroes: Sunset Alley from Herne Bay. Headlining the festival is the up and coming South of Salem whose last UK tour was a sell out.
As main support Lucifer are flying in from Sweden, having recently entered their third incarnation featuring Rosalie Cunningham on guitar and backing vocals. The band has made their mark in Europe supporting the likes of Ghost in arenas and playing major festivals.
Other artists include Bad Touch, Tankzilla, Thanet talent The SuperMicks, Atravion, Alice Cooper support band Bobbie Dazzle, The Motherz, Margarita Witch Cult and Samavayo who are currently touring the UK.
Margate Rock Festival takes place on October 25, 11:30am to 11pm, last entry 8pm.

A pre-festival party is being held on October 24 at Olbys in Margate from 6pm.
Local bands Black Roze, Man Band, Gianni Scalera and the Jury, HighGarden and Penny Skint are on the bill.
