Three men were taken to hospital and a man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving following a crash in Margate last night (February 5) where a car ended up on its roof.
Emergency services were called to Tivoli Road at 6.23pm after a report that a car had collided with a stationary vehicle.
Police, paramedics and three fire engines were in attendance.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Officers attended the scene with South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service and three men were taken to a local hospital for treatment to injuries which were not believed to be serious.
“A 35 year old man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and remains in custody.”

Driver should be banned from driving for life,the law has been around long enough ,he/she should know better ,every drink driver should be banned for life, and if the drive again sent to prison

Amazing how many not at all drunk &/or charlied up people in Margate doing 70 plus MPH keep crashing into parked cars, houses, railings & walls year after year. Why do people keep putting such things there for these wonderful human beings to hit?
You could also blame trees when they are crashed into. Remember Mark Feldman… errrr… Mark Bolan?
