Sports Connect is launching a new Post-16 programme based at the Northdown Family Hub in Zion Place, Cliftonville.
The educational, referral-only programme aims to provide a supportive and flexible environment for learners, focusing on personal growth.
Following an initial investment from Thanet District Council through the Shared Prosperity Fund, the community and education teams have worked with local services to build projects and provision.
A Sports Connect spokesperson said: “At Sports Connect, we believe that education should be as unique as the learner. Our new site at Northdown Family Hub embodies this by offering a bespoke curriculum designed to fit the individual needs and aspirations of each learner.
“The programme has no entry requirements, and emphasises small group learning with a maximum of six learners per day, ensuring personalised support.”
Each applicant will be referred through Sports Connect’s registration form. If Northdown is not the right fit, applicants will be guided to apply for other suitable Sports Connect sites.
The programme runs three days a week, with flexible scheduling and a staffing ratio of of 2:1,
