The children’s Sure Start centre in Newington will be closed until further notice following a fire in the building this morning (February 5).
Four fire engines, police and electrical and gas engineers attended the scene of a blaze after it was reported at 4.34am.
Firefighting operations were completed by 10.25am. There were no reported injuries and the cause is not yet known
All groups and services from the centre are being relocated.
Monday’s Healthy Child Clinic will be cancelled until further notice.
Wednesday’s Twins and Multiples will now run at Newlands CC from 1.15pm – 2.45pm
Friday’s Family Time will now run at Priory CC from 10am – 11.30am
