Thanet council will change three bin collection days over the Christmas and New Year period.
Collections due on Wednesday 25 December, Christmas Day – will be collected on Saturday 21 December
Collections due on Thursday 26 December, Boxing Day – will be collected on Saturday 28 December
Collections due on Wednesday 1 January, New Year’s Day – will be collected on Saturday 4 January
All other collection days remain the same.
If you have a real Christmas tree it can be taken to your Margate or Sandwich for recycling. Christmas trees will not be collected as part of the regular waste and recycling collections.
Thanet council is closed from Christmas Day, reopening on Thursday, January 2.
