Appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage following crash on A299 at Minster

Police are appealing for witnesses of a crash at the Cliffsend roundabout yesterday (November 12).

A blue Vauxhall Astra had been travelling coastbound along the A299 when it was involved in the collision on the  roundabout near Minster at around 11.20am.

A woman, who was a passenger in the car, suffered injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The driver, a 30-year old man from Croydon, was taken to hospital as a precaution and has since been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.

He currently remains in custody while enquiries are ongoing.

Officers are investigating the collision and would like to hear from anyone who was travelling in the area at the time or shortly before 11.20am and may have seen something which could assist with enquiries.

Motorists are also asked to come forward if they have dashcam footage of the collision or the car travelling along the A299.
