The Grumpy Goblin Gaming Emporium, at 90 Queen Street in Ramsgate, has been taken over by a new management team. The revamped enterprise consists of Lewis Todd, proprietor of the Grumpy Goblin, Chris Muckell and Laurie Glover.

The Grumpy Goblin specialises in hobbyist games including Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon and a variety of other family friendly fun aimed at all ages. The store is open daily from noon until 6pm -11am to 4pm on Sundays – and until 10pm on Monday, Tuesday and Fridays for card game tournaments for players of all skill levels.

Lewis said: “The new partnership represents such an exciting opportunity for our gaming community at the Grumpy Goblin and for those that don’t currently enjoy trading card games or other hobbyist ranges to get involved.

“These games are perfect for all ages, all the way from 10 through to 100, and each offers a unique experience of strategy, skill and luck.

“With Christmas just around the corner we’ve made sure to fill the shelves with the perfect gifts for gamers, if you’ve got a hard-to-buy-for cousin, friend or sibling then our staff will be able to help you make more of an impact on Christmas morning than any pair of socks or Lynx Africa gift-set could ever hope to.”
