The committee of the QEQM Hospital League of Friends held a tea party on July 8 in St Peter’s Church Hall to celebrate its 70th anniversary.
The delicious cake was donated by Crusties Bakery and was shared with 80 guests at the party. Guests enjoyed tea, sandwiches and scones plus an afternoon of entertainment.”
Over £97,000 was donated to QEQMH by the League of Friends last year enabling the purchase of extra equipment and furniture for the hospital.
