Woman charged with string of Thanet offences including food theft from care home

A woman has been charged with committing ten offences in Thanet, including stealing food from a care home, burglary, fraud and shoplifting.

Nicola Hrickova, 25, of no fixed address, was arrested in Grosvenor Place, Margate, yesterday (July 2).

She was charged with stealing food from a care home in Eaton Road, Margate, on Saturday, June 2.

She was also charged with stealing a tablet computer and bank cards from a house in Marine Gardens, Margate, and cash from a flat in Eaton Road, Margate, and using a bank card fraudulently in Margate on Thursday, June 7.

Officers also charged her with stealing two computers, cash and bank cards from an address in Fitzroy Avenue, Broadstairs, on Friday, June 8 and attempted burglary at a flat in Margate High Street on Wednesday, June 13.

The 25-year-old was further charged with entering an address in Alexandra Terrace, Margate, with intent to steal on Thursday, June 14, stealing a mobile phone, cash and a bank card from a flat in Ford Crescent, Margate, and using a bank card fraudulently in the town on Monday, June 18.

She was also charged with stealing make-up worth £137 from Boots in Margate on Monday, July 2.

She has been remanded in custody to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Tuesday, July 31.
