Fire crews were called to smoke coming from a house in Birchington yesterday (April 5).
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to the property in Queens Avenue at 3.15pm.
Crews cut away parts of the roof to dampen down affected areas.
A KFRS spokesperson said: “Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of smoke coming from a house at Queens Avenue in Birchington.
“Two fire engines attended, and crews cut away parts of the roof to dampen down any affected areas.
“There were no reported injuries, and it’s believed to have been caused by a heat gun being used externally.”
Crews finished at the scene at 4pm.
