Thanet nature photographer Molly Hollman is sharing her creative expertise with the launch of an online flower photography course in partnership with The School of Photography.
The St Nicholas at Wade mum-of-two was selected last year by leading online educator The School of Photography (TSOP) to create a new worldwide photography course about photographing flowers, plants and gardens.
The Chatham and Clarendon School music teacher filmed the course last April at nearby Doddington Place Gardens and at The School of Photography’s film studio in Essex.
It is now live and available.
Known for her expressive macro and close-up imagery of flowers, plants, insects and gardens, Molly’s work has earned numerous national and international awards.
She will be attending the Garden Media Guild Awards – the gardening ‘Oscars’ – next week at the Savoy Hotel in London, having been shortlisted for the Gordon Rae Garden Photographer of the Year award.
Her new course distils all her experience into a clear, inspiring and accessible programme designed to help photographers at every level develop their craft and artistic vision.
The course offers in-depth guidance from macro and close-up techniques to innovative editing techniques, including textures, overlays and fine-art workflows.
Molly, 52, said: ““This course brings together the techniques, creative methods and approaches I’ve developed over many years. I want viewers to feel empowered to create images that are not only technically strong but emotionally resonant.”
