A quirky video filmed in Margate by singer Rag ‘n’ Bone Man for his latest song Pocket has now been released.
The video features Margate seafront, Arlington House and car park, Dreamland and Reaperz Tattoo Studio along with its tattooists.
The BRIT award winning singer was in town in September filming the new music video.
The 39-year-old from East Sussex made a second visit to Reaperz Inc tattoo, piercing and barbers studio in Station Road after visiting the previous year to get a Margate tattoo done before taking to the Dreamland stage for a Summer Series gig.
Talking about the visit for the latest shoot, Reaperz tattoo artist Dan Bolton said: “(He’s a) top fella, really down to earth! He had photos with our clients and passers-by. He’s a really decent guy!”
And for those questioning why a man was walking along the seafront with a ‘head’ in his hands – the video gives the answer!
The singer rose to prominence under the Rag’n’Bone Man moniker in 2016 with the release of ‘Human’; showcasing a blend of traditional blues and hip hop and introducing the world to his powerfully deep baritone voice.
Having won the 2017 BRIT’s ‘British Breakthrough Act’ and receiving the BRIT’s ‘Critics’ Choice Award’ in the same year, Graham cemented his success with the record-breaking release of his 4x platinum #1 album of the same name ‘Human’ earning a further BRIT Award for ‘Best Single of the Year’, with the title track (Human) in 2018.
Since his debut album, Rag’n’Bone Man has also collaborated with international artists including Gorillaz (The Apprentice), Logic (Broken People), Calvin Harris (Giant) and Pink, who joined him on the single ‘Anywhere Away From Here’ from his album ‘Life By Misadventure’.
His new album, What Do You Believe In?, is scheduled for release on October 18. And he will then be touring the UK and Northern Europe.
