Police called to three car crash in Broadstairs

No injuries were reported following a three car crash on the Ramsgate Road in Broadstairs today September 17).

Police were called at 10.12am to the collision, along from the Dumpton Park Nissan garage (Broadstairs direction). One car hit a front garden wall.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 10.12am on Tuesday 17 September to a report of a collision involving three cars on Ramsgate Road in Broadstairs.

“Officers attended to clear the road and assist with vehicle recovery. There were no reported injuries.”

  1. Was it the idiot who pulled out of the Tesco car park, into the moving traffic in front of me, then hooted because I was in his way?! Driving in Thanet is appalling!!dusg

  2. Something needs to be done along that stretch of road – The Nissan garage seems to use it as an overflow carpark – Put double yellows along that bit as it’s a bus route with a bus stop there too.
    I’ve almost been driven off the road there with impatient drivers overtaking the parked vehicles and on my side of the road.

      You can fit two busses down past those parked cars, so christ knows what you’re driving. Are you one of thanets many drivers that doesn’t know the width of their own vehicle and leaves three foot between their car and the curb, driving as close to the central division as possible?

  3. I don’t want to say it for fear of being branded, but I’m going to. I think the standard of driving has dropped because of so many non British driving licence holders on the roads. ie takeaway drivers. One tried to overtake me along Bromstone rd. And. Yes I know we have our own fair amount of idiots.
