Fire crews rescue dog from garage blaze in Cliftonville

Fire crews called to Northumberland Avenue

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to the scene of a garage fire in Cliftonville at 2.28pm today (September 7).

Three fire engines in attendance at Northumberland Avenue and crews, wearing breathing apparatus, used hose reel and main jets to extinguish the flames.

The volunteer response team also attended.

There were no reported injuries and a dog was rescued from the property. The cause is not yet known.

Crews finished at the scene at 4.14pm.
