Holy Trinity & St John’s CEP School in Margate has been visited by professional stunt scooter rider Terry Price who worked with Year 4 children in a series of workshops throughout the day.
Terry’s coaching supported the children to build their control and confidence on scooters before moving on to foundation level tricks.
Terry made the learning experience fun with games and music and then spoke to the whole school about the challenges he faces when inventing new tricks. He then amazed staff and children with a display of his own including a 360-degree flip from a ramp!
Mr Williams, PE Teacher at Holy Trinity & St John’s said: “Having Terry in has really inspired our year 4 pupils. Through the workshops with him they have developed a growth mindset and shown fantastic resilience as well as showing our school values.”
