Margate Ladies FC have made it to the third qualifying round of the Vitality Women’s FA Cup fixture and will be playing away at Millwall Lionesses this weekend.

The match on Sunday (October 22) will mark a milestone for the Ladies.

Steph Meek’s side made history earlier this month after beating Bromleians 7-1. Now the team takes on the Lionesses who currently play in the London & South East Regional Division, two steps above the ‘Gate.

The Lionesses also progressed to this stage with a convincing 11-0 win over Regents Park Rangers.

Supporters will be travelling to watch the game at St Pauls Sports Ground, kick-off at 1:30pm with entrance costing £5 adults, £2 U18-11 year olds, with U11’s being free.

  1. Personally I prefer watching women’s professional football, it just as skillful as the men’s, but less brutal!
