The date for the Westwood Cross Christmas lights switch on has been announced as Friday 17th November.
The free event, hosted in collaboration with Thanet Academy FM and Stagecoach, will include a festive procession, giveaways and a star-studded line up of tribute act performances and UK pop legends.
The festivities will kick off at 4pm with a procession led by Father Christmas, before the unveiling of the centre’s Christmas lights, which will include a giant teddy bear, a feature reindeer, and a walk-through bauble.
Francesca Donovan, Centre Manager at Westwood Cross, said: “We are incredibly excited about this year’s Christmas light switch on. Every year we look forward to celebrating Christmas with the community, and we can’t wait to announce our brilliant acts for this year’s event!”
Visitors can also visit the Westwood Cross Christmas market, opening on Friday 17th November.
