Some 60 artists, makers and creatives are displaying work at the annual Commingled showcase from Westgate Galleria and The Eclectic Art Gallery in Margate.

The exhibition, which has opened today (September 22) is a group showcase featuring works ranging from hand-crafted textiles, glass, wood and metal to ceramics, jewellery, creative writing, paintings, photos, drawings and prints.

The two independent galleries support creatives – both emerging and established – from across Thanet and Kent. They are led by businesswomen Sarah Gibbon and Vivienne Rose, who curate bright, colourful, accessible, selections of their groups’ work for the annual showcases.

The pair say this year’s will be bigger, better and bolder than ever before; including work from guest artists they have worked with recently too.

This group showcase is being displayed at Pie Factory gallery in Broad Street, Margate, until September 26. Opening hours are 10am to 5pm.

Most works will be available for sale and there are opportunities every day to meet some of the exhibitors.
