A man has been charged with possessing a knife in a public place following a stop-and-search in Margate.
Kieran Martin, 26, of no fixed address, was arrested in Marine Terrace at around 12.45pm on Friday,January 31.
He has since been charged with possession of a scythe-type curved knife and possession of cannabis.
Mr Martin was bailed to appear before Margate magistrates on Tuesday, March 3.
