A four-year-old from Minster nursery has been crowned the first Mini Miss Atlantic in an online pageant contest.
Skylar Goddard, whose big sister Caitlin, 8, is the current Junior Face of Europe and the World, was the youngest competitor in the contest.
Skylar will travel to Reading in January to watch the older contestants vie for the Miss Atlantic 2020/21 title and to take her first official ‘walk.’
Mum Becca said: “I work hard promoting the girls for appearances. They do charity events and whenever I am off work we go to lots of places.
“We are going to William Harvey Hospital on Saturday to give presents to children who are in hospital over Christmas.
“I’ve spent about £3000 in two years for the girls’ dresses, trips and much more but they want to do the natural pageants so we’re more than happy to do that.
“This is Skylar’s first proper title but we plan to attend a lot more events in the future and she wants to raise lots of money and go to lots of appearances with her sister Caitlin.”
