Four fire engines and a height vehicle will be at Trove Court and Kennedy House in Ramsgate this evening (December 10) for a training exercise.

Exercises are standard procedure, and are regularly undertaken by stations at various areas around the county in different sites and types of buildings.

Residents, Thanet council and East Kent Housing will be alerted.

    • Surely not !

Fires in tower blocks only take place on balmy summer evenings so there would no need to plan for the eventually of a fire in windy, winter conditions when the flames would be fanned and rescue of trapped residents impeded . . .

  1. Don’t know why such negative comments. I grew up in this tower block and admire anyone who risks their life to save anyone in a fire.
