A Meet the Artists Christmas Arts and Crafts day is taking place at Birchington Framing Centre and Gallery tomorrow (November 30),

Artists who sell work through the framing centre gallery will be on hand to talk about their skills and the processes involved in producing their work.

There will be mini demonstrations with Anthony Giles, Georgie Mersh and David Bailey -famous for his cartoon  seagulls.

Owners Lorrain and Paul Edwards will be offering all their visitors a mince pie and tipple of non-alcoholic mulled wine. Paul will have the computerised mount cutter (Valiani CMC) running and demonstrating what it can do.

Visitors will also receive a free ticket for a prize draw to win £25 voucher to spend in the shop.

Other artists on sow will be Martin Silver – jewellery, Jane Boulter aka Lily-Bett Designs, Jenny Cornell aka Dotty Fanshaw, Anna Newman and Gill Goldsmith Powertex. Steve Dell Woodturning, Jane Martyn Croswell Cooper Creations, Jessica Newby Seaglass Jewellery, Sue Miller aka Windy Designs , Bags and Textiles,David and Jo Wagstaff (JODA), Juliet Challis- pottery and Hazel Browne -textiles.

The shop, at 74 Station Road, will be open from 10am to 4pm.
