Train services to Thanet have resumed after they were stopped this afternoon from Canterbury West station after a suspected trespasser was caught on the railway tracks.
Operator Southeastern halted all services via Canterbury West around 2pm while police apprehended a person who had gone onto the line.

Passengers travelling on services through the station were warned of disruptions as trains were stopped, but rail bosses say they are now running as normal.
A person was apprehended and taken away by officers.
