Woman arrested on suspicion of arson after cars set alight outside Westbrook home

A woman has been arrested

Police are appealing for information after a report of two cars being set alight outside a house in Westbrook.

Emergency services were called to Barn Crescent at around 9.25pm yesterday (August 23). The fire was safely extinguished by Kent Fire and Rescue Service.

No injuries were suffered but the cause of the fire is believed to be suspicious. A 25-year-old woman from Ramsgate has been arrested on suspicion of arson. She remains in custody as enquiries continue.
