A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault after police were called to Westbrook this morning (July 13).
Kent Police was called at 8.49am to Hartsdown Road – at the junction with Canterbury Road – to a report that a woman had been assaulted.
A Kent Police spokesman said: “Officers attended and later arrested a 34-year-old man from Margate on suspicion of assault and criminal damage. The suspect is believed to be known to the victim and remains in custody.”
