A woman has been rescued after being trapped in a seafront lift in Broadstairs for 30 minutes today (June 25) due to a power cut.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of the woman stuck in the lift on Victoria Parade at around 12:59pm
She was released from the lift and duty of care was left with the bay inspector. The fire crew left the scene at 1.25pm.
Some 815 properties were affected by the power outage due to an underground electricity cable fault. Power has now been restored,
