Southeastern is warning passengers to check before they travel tomorrow (September 23) due to possible disruption to services because of high winds and rain.

A spokesperson for Southeastern said: “High winds and heavy rain are forecast to affect the south east on Sunday 23 September.

“Southeastern is expecting to run trains on all routes (except those affected by planned engineering work), with no Network Rail speed restrictions currently planned. However, there may still be delays to some journeys due to the weather conditions.

“Our operational teams are keeping a close eye on the forecast, and will provide additional updates when more information is available.

“We would advise passengers planning to travel with us on Sunday to check before they travel, and to allow extra time for their journey.”
