A Palm Bay dad-of-two is celebrating a year in business and is now looking to take on an additional staff member.
Andy Gifford set up Andy’s Airport Cars at the start of 2017 with himself as the sole member of staff.
He had been a taxi driver since 2011 and had worked for two of the bigger local firms before taking the plunge and going into business for himself.
He said: “The idea was to provide an affordable solution for people wanting to get to the airports and cruise terminals and other long-distance destinations.
“I started off with just me and have built it up to a team of three. I am now looking to take on another MPV / People Carrier driver.”
Andy is now celebrating the booking of his 1,000th job.
He said: “I am amazed at how popular we have become in such a short space of time. This has definitely shown there is a need for affordable travel to the airports and other long-distance destinations which I will continue to provide with my team.”
