Bayliss Executive Travel have stepped in to help out older residents who may be experiencing problems due to the weather.
Their post says: “Due to this ridiculous weather and work being cancelled left right and centre, we have lots of staff free at Bayliss Executive Travel over the next couple of days. If you are elderly and in need of any help at all, please call Rob on 01304 363600 and let our office know.
“We will despatch a staff member to help absolutely free of charge, whether that be to take you to the doctors or a necessary shopping trip, we want to help. This isn’t a gimmick, this is a genuine offer unanimously agreed to by our staff, our boys want to help! Stay safe everyone.”
Our crews were out earlier this morning to attempt waste collection, however in light of the changing weather conditions, for the safety of the crews and public, a decision has been made to stop collections for now. Further information on our website: https://t.co/oYyMmvFBG8
