Firefighters called to car blaze in Ramsgate

Fire crews were called to a car blaze in Ramsgate last night (June 14).

One engine attended Telham Avenue at 6.44pm where two cars were on fire. The cause of the blaze is not yet known.

Crews finished at the scene at 7.15pm.

A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of two cars alight on Telham Avenue in Ramsgate.

“One fire engine attended, and crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.

“There were no injuries reported and the cause is not yet known.”
