Port Regis Montessori Nursery in Broadstairs has been awarded the National Day Nursery Association (NDNA) Award for Nursery of the Year 2024 England South.
The accolade recognises the nursery’s exceptional commitment to providing high-quality early years education and care.
The NDNA Awards celebrate the best in nursery care across the United Kingdom, with rigorous judging criteria that includes the quality of learning environments, innovative educational practices, parental involvement and the overall well-being of children.
Port Regis Montessori Nursery stood out among hundreds of entries, impressing judges with its child-centred approach, dedicated staff and outstanding community engagement.

Port Regis Montessori Nursery, based in 17 acres of private woodland along the seafront, offers a blend of Montessori philosophy and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. The integrated approach aims to give each child a holistic education tailored to their individual needs, fostering independence, creativity and a lifelong love of learning.
The awards ceremony, held at Coventry Building Society Arena, was attended by early years professionals from across the UK. The event celebrated excellence in various categories with Port Regis Montessori Nursery taking the top honour.
