Staff nurse Shams will raise charity cash on her birthday

Accident and Emergency staff nurse Shams McArthur will celebrate her birthday by running a charity event to raise cash for children affected by the horrific attack in Manchester last month.

Shams has organised a ‘tea by the sea’ bash tomorrow (June 5) to take place on Westbrook beach.

The mum-of-two, celebrating a birthday ‘in her 40s’ will have a ‘totally shredded’ drum and bass workout, Indian head massage, tea and cakes, Reiki, meditation a clairvoyant session, yoga and raffle prizes.

Each can be tried out for a donation with the money going to the cause.

Shams said: “Come and celebrate my birthday and let’s raise some money for the children affected by Manchester bombing.”

In the light of last night’s events in London, she added: It’s so scary and awful but we must all unite for me i have friends all over the world and these are extremists trying to divide everyone we all need to hold our friend neighbours loved ones tighter

There will also be the clairvoyant session and raffle.
