Reward offered for safe return of Westgate cat Spud

Lisa is hoping for the safe return of her cat Spud

A Westgate mum is offering a reward to anyone who can bring her missing cat home.

Seven-year-old Spud disappeared from his home in Dunstan Avenue last Friday (January 4)

Owner Lisa Ing says Spud is usually a ‘scared cat’ who never strays and she fears he may have been frightened off.

The 36-year-old said: “He is so lovely and I am missing him so much. I have only just lost my mum and don’t want to lose my cat too.”

Lisa’s mum Heather passed away in November after losing her battle with cancer.

Lisa added: “ I have had Spud since he was a kitten. He has been done and is chipped. He is a real mummy’s cat and never goes past next door because he is always scared. We think another cat might have scared him and now he is lost

“I just want my boy home.”

Lisa is offering a £100 reward for his return. If you can help call her on 07772855036
