This month, Active Ramsgate Week returns to give visitors and residents alike a chance to try out the amazing range of outdoor activities the coastal town has to offer.
Every day from Sunday 26 May to Sunday 2 June, the initiative is offering free places via prize draw across its schedule of activities throughout the half-term holiday – from walking, cycling, water-sporting, exploring and many more.
Whether you’re a walker, two-wheeler or a wave-maker, there’s something for everyone.
What’s on and when
SUNDAY 26 MAY – WATERSPORTS
SEA KAYAKING & SEALS TOUR
Join a 3-hour tour of our local bay, riding the waves, learning about wildlife protection and safely spotting seals.
Western Undercliff, 12:30pm – 3:30pm
KITESURFING & WING HANDLING TASTERS
Get going with this hands-on, beach-based intro to handling kites and wings.

MONDAY 27 MAY – CYCLING
PIER-TO-PIER CYCLE RIDE – 8 BIKE HIRES AVAILABLE
Take on our Pier-to-Pier cycle ride from Ramsgate to Deal with 8 free bike hires up for grabs.

THANET COAST CYCLING TOUR
Take a guided tour of the coast, starting from our iconic lighthouse. Bring your own bike or free hire included.

BAYS & BEACHES BOAT TOUR
Explore the history and geography of our coast by boat – from Pegwell Bay to Dumpton Gap.

Discover the flora and fauna of our nature reserve – from majestic birds to beautiful butterflies.

Join this story-led stroll through historic streets, past beautiful architecture and stunning coastline.

LEARN NORDIC WALKING
Learn Nordic Walking – a technique using poles for more of a workout – along our Sea It All walk to Broadstairs and back.

BEACH YOGA
A welcoming 60 minute session with local yoga instructor, Charlotte Ellis.

Rejuvenate and recover with a one hour massage in the heart of Ramsgate.

Phew! Time to wind-down with a ride around the harbour and some tunes to boot.

All entries must be emailed by 5pm on Wednesday 22 May.
Spaces are limited, so winners will be randomly selected and notified with details by Active Ramsgate ahead of their activity.
