Marine Gardens in Margate has been closed in both directions while SGN workers investigate a gas leak.
The road is shut between the junctions of Belgrave Road and Grosvenor Place.
SGN says: “Our engineers are currently working to investigate a gas leak in Marine Gardens, Margate.
“To do this safely, we have closed the road in both directions between the junctions of Belgrave Road and Grosvenor Place.
“Our engineers are working as quickly and safely as possible to complete their repairs. It’s too early to say how long work will take to complete – we will keep this webpage updated.
“Thank you for your patience and understanding”
It would be a good idea to get on your bike with all the closures in and around Thanet at the moment
Oh yay another rd closure to go with the other works SGN are doing in Thanet , think single handed they have over 25 holes in Thanet at moment that are causing gridlock .
