This autumn Bongo’s Bingo is returning to Margate with two new shows following on from a sold-out debut at the Drill Shed.
The original bingo-rave phenomenon is back for a marrow-curdling Halloween spectral-special on Friday 30th October and a following show on Friday 13th November, both at The Drill Shed at Cliftonville Lido.
What started as a random idea between two friends in Liverpool in 2015 is now an original competitive socialising event, with more than six million tickets sold.
Bongo’s Bingo has rejuvenated a quaint British pastime into nostalgia-soaked revelry, rave rounds, dance-offs, audience participation, confetti showers and much more with prizes including a 20-foot Wacky Wavy, giant pink unicorns, Henry Hoovers and Space Hoppers.
Jonny Bongo, Bongo’s Bingo’s co-founder, said: “We’re all absolutely buzzing to be back in Margate. We’ve already sold out our debut show at The Drill Shed on Friday October 2nd and we’ve got two more dates coming up.
“We know how much the locals love to party so we are bringing maximum bingo vibes for everyone in Margate on the coast and it’s going to be absolutely class. We can’t wait.”
