This year’s Broadstairs Water Gala takes place on Wednesday July 29th from 9am to 10.30pm with beach games and paddle board lessons at Viking Bay.
There will be all day entertainment and activities on the bandstand, gift and craft stalls along the promenade and a funfair on Victoria Gardens.
It’s a free fun filled family day out – funfair charges apply – with everything from the Teddy Bears Picnic at Lillyputt Mini Golf at 9am to a Dinosaur Invasion on the bandstand at 1.30pm.
The usual favourites will also be there, Punch & Judy on Viking Bay, beach football, RNLI lifeboats moored at the Jetty, Thanet Coast Project at Stone Bay, King Neptune arriving at high tide and the ever-popular sandcastle competition at 3 pm ,with prizes for everyone participating.
The event finishes with live music and dancing to Ozzie and the Uglies at the bandstand at 8pm to 10.30pm and a fantastic firework display over Viking Bay at 9.45pm .
