Children at Priory Infants had a fantastic time celebrating the Term 6 Sports Values Day, with this term’s sporting value of Honesty at the heart of everything they did.
Throughout the day, the children embraced the importance of honesty by demonstrating fairness, integrity and respect in every activity. They encouraged one another, celebrated each other’s successes and always gave their very best.
The children enjoyed taking part in a range of exciting activities, including Laser Tag, golf, and the ever-popular Sports Values Challenge. This term’s challenge saw the children tackle an obstacle course, racing against the clock to complete it in the quickest time while showing determination, resilience and excellent sportsmanship.
Every child displayed enthusiasm, passion and self-belief throughout the day. Their positive attitudes, willingness to challenge themselves and support for their friends made the event a tremendous success.
Headteacher Clare Sellwood said: “Our Sports Values Days are a wonderful opportunity for children to develop important life skills alongside enjoying being active, and it was fantastic to see this term’s value of honesty demonstrated so clearly throughout the day.
“Every child approached the activities with enthusiasm, determination and integrity, encouraging their friends and celebrating each other’s achievements.
“We are incredibly proud of the positive attitudes and excellent sportsmanship they showed, making it a fun-filled day that perfectly reflected the values we promote at Priory Infant School.”
