A man and a woman have been arrested after an assault victim in Ramsgate was taken to hospital with head injuries on Friday (April 3).
Emergency crews were called at 2.30pm to reports of a disturbance in Hereson Road/Ramsgate Road, towards the Nissan garage.
A man in his 50s suffered the injuries. He was later discharged from hospital.
A 30-year-old man and 24-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of assault and were taken into custody. They have since been bailed
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called to Hereson Road, Ramsgate at 2.30pm on Friday 3 April. It was reported that a victim had been assaulted following a disturbance involving a small group of people.
“Officers attended along with paramedics and a man in his 50s was taken to a local hospital for treatment to head injuries. He was later discharged.
“A 30 year old man and 24 year old woman were arrested on suspicion of assault and were taken into custody. They have since been bailed while enquiries continue.”
