Two men have been arrested on suspicion of drug supply following a vehicle chase in Margate.
Officers spotted a white Citroen Berlingo which was a ‘vehicle of interest’ in Canterbury Road at 4.30pm yesterday (April 3).
Patrol officers pursued the vehicle and eventually blocked it in at Cecil Square.
Two men, aged 38 and 30, were arrested on suspicion of possessing class B drugs with intent to supply. They have since been released on bail whilst enquiries continue.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “ Officers were on patrol in Canterbury Road, Margate at around 4.30pm on Friday 3 April when they saw a vehicle of interest. It was pursued for a short distance before it was stopped by patrols on Cecil Square.
“Two men aged 38 and 30 were arrested on suspicion of possessing class B drugs with intent to supply. They have since been released on bail whilst enquiries continue.”
