Kent Police officers are investigating after a car smashed into a wall in Margate and then the driver and occupants fled the scene.
The car crashed into the wall in Addiscombe Road at around 10.35pm yesterday (March 27). A witness says there were five occupants, one running away on foot with the others leaving in the vehicle.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at around 10.35pm on Friday 27 March after a car collided with a wall in Addiscombe Road, Margate.
“No injuries were reported and the vehicle left the scene following the incident.
“Officers attended and enquiries are being carried out to identify the car and its occupants.”
It is understood the vehicle was found in Cliftonville but police have not yet confirmed this.
