A mother and child were treated at the scene of a traffic collision in Broadstairs this morning (March 27).
Emergency crews were called to a two vehicle collision, on the corner of Dundonald Road and Belvedere Road at 10.47am.
The woman and child were treated at the scene before being taken to QEQM Hospital in Margate for further care.
A South East Coast Ambulance service spokesperson said: “South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) was called at approximately 10.47am today following reports of a road traffic collision near the junction of Dundonald Road and Belvedere Road in Broadstairs.
“Crews attended the scene, including a critical care paramedic, and a mother and child were assessed and treated at the scene before being taken to Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital in Margate for further medical treatment.”
A Kent Police spokesperson added: “Kent Police was called at 10.26am to a report of a collision involving two cars in Belvedere Road near to the junction with Dundonald Road in Broadstairs.
“Officers attended to assist. Paramedics also attended and the occupants of one of the vehicles were taken to a local hospital for injuries not considered to be life-threatening or life-changing.”
