One fire crew is currently in attendance after a fallen tree blocked Bairds Hill in Broadstairs today (March 25).
A Kent County Council highways steward is also en-route.
The tree is blocking the entire road, making it impassable.
A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called at 3.08pm today (25 March 2026) to reports of a large fallen tree in Bairds Hill, Broadstairs.
“One fire engine is in attendance.”
The incident is ongoing.

Thank heavens no one was hurt. It could have been disastrous at that time of day with children leaving school.
