Drugs have been seized and two suspected dealers arrested following a stop by police officers in Ramsgate.
Patrols in Boundary Road became aware of a Mercedes at around 10.30pm on Monday 12 January and officers signalled for the driver to stop.
The driver did not stop and so the vehicle was followed. A passenger got out of the car in Harbour Parade.
Shortly afterwards, two men were detained. Searches led to the recovery of a number of drugs, including cannabis and wraps of a suspected class A substance.
Mobile phones, quantities of cash and various drug-related paraphernalia were also seized.
The men, both aged 27 and from the area, were taken into custody and have since been bailed with conditions while enquiries continue.
No surprise there.

They were bailed after promising that from now on they will no longer sell poison (recreational drugs in woke terminology) to pay for their Merc. Their new career? Helping old ladies cross the road. Probably.
