Employers and training providers who offer Apprenticeship Pathways & Technical Qualifications for school leavers are invited to join an exhibition being hosted at Hartsdown Academy on Friday 6 February.
The Apprenticeships Exhibition 2026 builds on the previous success of the Big Dreams Careers Exhibitions which have taken place in the summer months, involving some 30 employers.
Employers have shared their career journeys, experiences and vast knowledge with some 400 young people keen to explore the opportunities that exist beyond school.
With such a national focus on the opportunities that apprenticeship and technical pathways can bring, the already successful careers programme at the school is expanding to its offer students a training and employment route to life through meaningful conversations and encounters.
Nigel Knight, Careers & Outreach Coordinator at Hartsdown, said: “The support of local employers and business professionals in recent years has been a key factor in the exponential growth of our careers programme at Hartsdown Academy.
“Events such as this sit front and centre of our ‘Opportunities’ pillar as we seek to provide our students with experiences that will impact their lives moving forwards.
“With over 300 employers now having partnered with us in recent years, the generous support within the community to broaden the ambitions and aspirations of our students means we can provide work experience placements, employability skills workshops and visiting speakers offering their expertise and experiences of the working world.”
The exhibition will be held on February 6 from 10am to 1pm.
