A real ice rink returns to Quex Adventure Farm Park in Birchington this year. Set beneath the sparkling canopy of a Giant Marquee, Skate Into Quex promises an unforgettable festive experience for families, friends, and visitors of all ages.
Now in its third year, the winter attraction is open to all, whether you’re a seasoned skater or stepping onto the ice for the first time.
“We’re so excited to welcome back our Real Ice Rink for another season of festive fun,” said Graham Stroud, owner of Quex Adventure Farm Park. “This is the third year we’ve hosted ‘Skate Into Quex’, and each time it grows in popularity.
“There’s something truly special about seeing people of all ages enjoying real ice skating right here in Thanet. With our rink now even bigger and our Giant Marquee providing shelter from the elements, guests can enjoy the magic of winter whatever the weather.
“This year’s line-up of festive experiences – from The Elf Express and Santa Paws to Reindeer Encounters and our new Christmas Afternoon Teas – makes Quex the ultimate destination for Christmas family fun.”
Adding to the excitement, Glistening Glide Productions Ltd, a professional figure skating group, will perform a live skating display during Quex’s Christmas Lights Switch-On event on Sunday, 30 November.

The Skate Into Quex Real Ice Rink will be open throughout December, offering a range of sessions from family-friendly skating and group bookings to the ever-popular “Parties on Ice” – the perfect way to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, or special occasions this festive season.
