Children at St, Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Broadstairs have marked Armistice Day in a variety of ways.
They worked hard earlier this month making poppies for a magnificent display outside of the school. Many of the families contributed to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal through the purchase of poppies and other merchandise.
On 11th November children were invited to come into school in their various uniforms, resulting in an array of Cubs, Brownies and Rainbows representing their organisations.
A whole school assembly was held to observe the two minute silence at 11 am.
The Chaplaincy Team led the assembly reverently and respectfully, setting an example to all.
