A man in his 20s remains in custody following a three-car crash in Broadstairs last night (November 5).
Police were called to Ramsgate Road, close to Broadstairs College, just after 6pm.
The road was closed while the incident was dealt with, causing a backlog and diversion of Stagecoach buses.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 6.02pm on Wednesday 5 November following reports of a collision involving three vehicles on Ramsgate Road, Broadstairs.
“Officers attended the scene where minor injuries were reported.
“A man in his 20s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving while unfit through drugs. He remains in custody whilst enquiries continue.”
I wonder what car he was driving and what colour? Drug dealing happens in full view in Broadstairs town centre now.
Yes…you are right. I believe a couple of houses near Ramsgate Road are drug dens too. Why are the police not doing anything re the incessant fast and wild driving on this stretch of Ramsgate Road? We need speed bumps and other deterrents put in place by the council.
I walk along the pavement on Ramsgate Road near the college frequently and there is almost always a speeding driver.

I was driving home from a meeting in Rochester and what with all the roadworks, this plus the fireworks morons was the last thing I wanted. Luckily I was able to persuade a rather frantic WPC to let me drive the last few yards to my home.
